I asked myself today why it is I’ve found updating my blog so difficult lately. I realized it’s because I am almost never alone! For whatever reason, I don’t like to blog when other people are around. Yet lately I’ve had my Husband or Caden around me almost 24/7. The rare times I am alone, I am usually exhausted and dropping into bed as soon as possible! Don’t get me wrong, I feel VERY blessed to have my Husband and Child around a lot, and to have wonderful quality time together. For us it’s good. Perhaps not so much for updating my blog =)
For now here is some of what’s on my mind. I rarely do listy-style posts, but tonight it just seems fitting.
- I’m feeling SO much better. The second trimester of this pregnancy is definitely upon me! I have my queazy moments, or my tired days, but nothing bad. I have to say I’m really enjoying this time!
- I’m still trying to gain weight. I never thought this would be a challenge! I’m sure 6 months from now I’ll be struggling to lose weight and wondering why the heck I ever thought I needed to gain, but I trust my Doctors and will do what I’m told.
- I’m counting down until July 6th. HOPEFULLY that day we will have an announcement on the babies gender! However if I were you, I’d not hold my breath on names…
- Noel has finished 6th grade, and is out of the state for the Summer. She spends most summers with her Mom. Currently she is living it up enjoying a different change of pace, oh, and no bedtime!
- Caden is doing great. He is growing like crazy. We’ve officially entered the terrible two’s. I keep reminding myself that each stage is beautiful in it’s own way and “this to will pass”.
- Caden is still not talking much, but he is saying more. When we take his picture we get a clear “Cheese” out of him, and whenever he’s in his car seat or stroller he says “out”. He pronounces it more like “oat” but the meaning is clear. All this being said, his favorite word is “stuck”. EVERYTHING is stuck. Stuck on the wall, stuck on the shelf, stuck in a box or drawer, everything is stuck. I’d say I hear it at least 2 times every 5 minutes all day long. He’s very fond of it!
